President Donald Trump tweeted about Puerto Rico on Monday night as the island struggles to recover from Hurricane Maria. "Texas & Florida are doing great but Puerto Rico, which was already suffering from broken infrastructure & massive debt, is in deep trouble," Trump said in one tweet. He continued: "It's old electrical grid, which was in terrible shape, was devastated. Much of the Island was destroyed, with billions of dollars owed to Wall Street and the banks which, sadly, must be dealt with. Food, water and medical are top priorities - and doing well." The hurricane knocked out power across the entire island, and as of Monday, some 1.6 million electricity customers were still in the dark, with the exception of some hospitals and medical facilities, according to the Associated Press.
