Mugabe reportedly set to attend Mnangagwa's inauguration

Preparations for the inauguration of Emmerson Mnangagwa as president are under way at the National Sports Stadium in Harare. According to state broadcaster ZBC, Robert Mugabe is expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony on Friday. Mugabe and his wife -- Grace have been reportedly been granted immunity from prosecution. The military says their safety is guaranteed and they will be allowed to remain in the country. Mugabe resigned as president on Tuesday. The 93-year-old has reportedly told negotiators he wants to die in Zimbabwe not in exile. Some people on the streets of Harare are sympathetic to his wishes
