About the FortaMoto Monkeys
The FortaMoto Monkeys have been built on top of two identical Yamaha TR1’s (or XV1000 as they
are called in the States). Even the reconstructed engines are 100% identical to each other, something that has never been done before in the café-racer world. The motorcycles are equipped with the following parts:
• Exhaust: custom made by Gerard Kramer
• Paintwork and tank design (gold leaf) by Lifecreations
• Seat: handmade out of leather by Ellermeyer
• Tail: handmade out of aluminium by Marcel van der Stelt
• Front fork: Suzuki GSX-R K6
• Shock absorber: Hagon (has been made 2 cm longer)
• Brakes: Brembo M4 monoblock with Brembo RCS19 radial master cylinder
• Spoked wheels by Excel, custom made
• Tyres: Pirelli Supercorsa SP
• Electronic heart: MotoGadget
• Speedometer: MotoGadget
• Keyless ignition with M-lock
• Indicators: MotoGadget
• Tarozzi pegs
• K&N air filter
